ADP Architects' Innovative Approach to Sustainable Workplace Design

The Raksul Viet Nam office, located in Ho Chi Minh City, stands out for its unique properties. The design caters to a hybrid working style, promoting both individual performance and team interaction. The office features spacious collaboration spaces, a refreshment area, and open working spaces, reflecting the company's brand elements and image.

The design was realized through a warm material palette, naturally lit spaces, and flexible workspaces. The multifunctional area mimics a public park, promoting dynamic collaboration and an energetic work style. Breakout spaces are designed for informal meetings and short breaks, while the open-plan workspaces can be configured organically to promote collaboration between different teams while still ensuring enough private space for focused work and confidential meetings.

The Raksul office's flexible layouts allow it to adapt to changing needs over time, incorporating new ways of working as technologies evolve. The design not only maximizes individual working performance but also promotes spontaneous interaction across all teams. This adaptability is a testament to the innovative approach of ADP Architects.

The design process involved extensive research and a focus group to understand the employees' needs better. One of the main challenges was to support the hybrid work style, requiring a careful allocation of space for activities beyond the conventional fixed desk setup.

The Raksul Viet Nam office design project began in November 2021 and was completed in January 2022. The project's success is evident in its recognition with a Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2022. This award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise, innovation, and artistic skill, and the Raksul office certainly fits the bill.

The office's concept of a "Tropical City" aims to make the world better and greener with the power of the Internet. The design's warm material palette, naturally lit spaces, and flexible workspaces create a positive experience for the company staff.
